I do want to apologize for my continued slight absence, as I dearly wish there was more time to flesh out this wonderful group; the good things will happen in their own time, though.

If you ARE interested in being an admin/moderator
(ie, helping to select quality deviations and various group hitches that come up) please send either this group, or ~
Krad-Eelav a note.
I will look at your favorites - just to make sure that you're on the same eye as we are. _____________________________
[ Quality Guidelines ]
This is just to help ya'll if you're confused about our quality standards - don't fret if your deviation doesn't get accepted, just practice a bit more!~

Background. A clearly rendered background is preferable - though there are exceptions if the figure is very well done.
Shading / Color. A clear understanding of light, shade, and color is highly recommended - think about things like contrast, atmosphere, form, different textures, etc. If it is just lineart, the lines must also reflect an understanding of form.
Anatomy / Pose. A visually interesting pose with correct anatomy is a must. We would like to be able to tell if it's a swordsman just by looking at the thumbnail.
Composition. Composition is always a tricky area to understand, but think about the rule of thirds, not placing the figure smack dab in the middle, and dynamics.
If you have any questions or concerns, just comment or note us, and we'll get back to you.
